The Sourdough Sara Story

Crafting Memories through Sourdough

The roots of Sourdough Sara are made up of not only passion and love for the art of baking and feeding others, but also professional experience and training in the food and hospitality industry. My name is Sara Tousinezhad and I have been baking for over two decades. Since I was a teenager I was always the one within my family and friends who created baked goods as gifts to share with my loved ones. In 2010 I pursued my love for baking professionally by enrolling, and eventually graduating, in Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary arts. In my time there I developed a deep love and appreciation for the art of bread making. What I loved most about it, and still love till this very day, is being able to feel so connected with an art that humans have been practicing and sharing for thousands of years. It brings me so much joy and life to be able to pass that history on to those around me, whether it be baking a loaf for a friend or customer, or teaching someone how to bake their own bread.

And that is the philosophy of Sourdough Sara. To uphold tradition and create pure and natural sourdough bread. Most importantly, to share with others the knowledge, passion and love that make for the ingredients in each loaf I bake.
